RE: Internship with The European-American Center

Dear Mr. Wikol,

I want to thank you for the unique opportunity to intern for the European-American Center. Through the Eur-Am Center, I have gained the tools to be successful in the world of international business.

As an intern with your company, I was given the responsibility of developing and marketing our programs to various United States universities. I had the privilege of dialoging and building relationships with prominent leaders in undergraduate education. Using these strategic relationships, I have helped to successfully launch several development projects. I was also given the great pleasure of using my French language skills to translate important company documents such as building and loan contracts, financial statements, and company correspondence with French businesses. The experience has not only greatly improved my French language skills but has taught me how to conduct business on an international scale.

My internship with The Eur-Am Center was an exceptional opportunity in that I was given the structure needed to excel in my areas of expertise while having great flexibility to explore and develop other skills. While interning I used my creativity to explore the area of marketing. I designed and developed ads and slogans for campus newspapers and company website postings that translated into big wins for the company's development.

In today's global market it is crucial to network with the right people. Thanks to the Eur-Am center, I built relationships with influential French and American businessmen and women. The exposure will be key to my future success and I look forward to using those contacts in the future.

One of the most beneficial aspects of my internship for the Eur-Am Center was the personal mentorship I received. I worked with a team of hard working professionals that continually strove for excellence. They taught me the basics of the business, assisted me when needed and advised me on how to become a better business professional.

As I continue to work for the Eur-Am Center as a Campus Representative, I look forward to representing the Eur-Am Center on my campus. I am thrilled to talk to students and distinguished faculty about such a reputable international program. I applaud the Eur-Am Center for its efforts to help student interns like me build a better and brighter future.

Sincerely,

Nikki Lewis
