Campus Background Pontlevoy, France The Loire Valley An Academic & Business Nexus

Pontlevoy, France

The village of Pontlevoy is located in the heart of the lovely Loire Valley, less than 30 kilometers from the three great chateaux of the Valley: Chambord, Chenonceau and Cheverney. Together, these three monuments see more than 2.5 million annual visitors, with most of this touring taking place in the beautiful Loire Valley summer. The city of Blois, with its own famed chateau and other sites of historical importance, brings 400,000 tourists of its own within 20 kilometers of Pontlevoy. Amboise, which is even closer to Pontlevoy than Blois, welcomes over 300,000 summer visitors, while Chaumont–just 10 kilometers away from the Eur-Am Center’s campus–attracts around 120,000 visitors in the garden season.

Surrounded by the quaint village of Pontlevoy, the Eur-Am Center students and clients have easy walking access to shops, cafes, bistros, bakeries, markets, and a charming hotel with 11 luxurious suites. A village of 1800 people, Pontlevoy is located 5 minutes from the riverside town of Montrichard, 20 minutes from the regional capital of Blois, 40 minutes from Tours, and just 90 minutes from Paris by train.
