giverny 2004 reception: American Beauty in France

The Eur-Am Center, together with the Musée d'Art Américain of Giverny, France (MAAG) proudly presented giverny / 2004 in celebration of American Beauty, the largest exhibit of American art ever to tour the continent of Europe. This special event included a private tour of the world-famous house and gardens of renowned artist Claude Monet, situated in Giverny, France. Guests enjoyed tours of the galleries of the museum, hors d'oeuvres, drinks, live music, and entertainment throughout the evening.

Proceeds from this event were generously donated to support the MAAG, a foundation devoted to the better understanding of the artistic relations that link the United States and France. For more information about the MAAG, click here.

Proceeds also created scholarship funds to enable The Eur-Am Center to offer unparalleled international experiences to American university students who would otherwise be unable to incorporate a semester abroad into their college education.
